Our Story:

M/S Nutech Bamboo Projects Private Limited is a Company registered with the Registrar of Companies, Shillong under Registration of Companies Act 1956 bearing Registration Number U01119MZ2009PTC008252. Its Registered Office is in Aijal Club First Floor, Khatla, Aizawl, Mizoram — 796001. It has its bamboo production facilities in Zero Point, Saihapui Road in Kolasib District.

The Company was started by a team of four passionate pioneering entrepreneurs of Bamboo Sector industry of Mizoram and North East India, namely, Shree L T Pudaite, Indian Foreign Service (Rtd) and former Indian Ambassador in Taiwan, Myanmar; Shree Yogaraja, IAS (Rtd), former Secretary of Industry, Mizoram; Shree Ramhluna Khiangte, former Engineer-in- Chief, Mizoram and Shree J B Rualchhinga, former Executive Member of Lai Autonomous District Council, Mizoram.

All these pioneer entrepreneurs shared a vision of transforming the construction and other Industry with sustainable high performance bamboo beam solution. They were also motivated by the passion of bamboo and its potentials as green wealth of Mizoram with possibilities of converting the green wealth into multiple eco-friendly industrial products like wood substitute and many other environmentally sustainable items of commercial use. Through their industrial venture, they also dreamt of creating employment for rural tribals area and also open up markets for bamboo garden owners.

With their vast experience in field and in public life, they decided to import Taiwanese technology of converting bamboo to eco-friendly bamboo timber through hot press technology in their own State of Mizoram which is blessed by Nature with an abundant wealth of natural bamboo resources.

Factory Details:

The Company is supported by Government of Mizoram, Government of India through National Mission for Bamboo Application and also by Small Farmers Agri Consortium and State Bank of India by proving funding at various stages.

  • Indian Machines with boiler — Valued at Rs 300.00 lakh.
  • Bamboo plantations — 1650 Bighas (23793000) four Pockets located within 20 kms of fair-weather road).
